A game warden was air-lifted to a Oklahoma City hospital after he fell 12 feet from a tree stand on Tuesday afternoon.

The warden called for help and crews from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and Guthrie Fire Department responded at the intersection of Peebly and Cooksey roads, off of Highway 105 in Logan County, just after 3 p.m.

The fire department deployed their Polaris unit to help the warden down in the terrain. Once on the mobile unit, the crew member escorted the warden to the Eagle Med air ambulance where he was taken to OU Medical Center.

The 56-year-old male warden is believed to have lost consciousness and suffered injuries to his shoulder and ribs.
