The Guthrie Junior High girls tennis team took the top spot in both singles action to help lead them to the Suburban Conference championship Monday afternoon at Harrah.
Jillian Chappell took first in No. 1 singles while teammate and good friend Kamber Smedley did the same in No. 2 singles.In No. 2 doubles, Kaitlyn Walls and Kaylea Hopfer finished second.
In No.1 doubles action, Blake Ziegelgruber & Ryan Robbins took the conference title by winning No. 1 doubles.
As a team, the boys finished third in the conference.
