Update — Guthrie woman killed in vehicle accident on I-35
Updated at 12:40 — ‼️ TRAFFIC ALERT ‼️ Motorists are being highly encouraged to stay away from Noble Ave. and Wentz St. Due to a fatality accident on I-35, traffic is being diverted through Guthrie.
Expect major traffic delays until 3 – 4 p.m.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials confirmed that one person was killed in a crash involving a semitruck on I-35 in northern Logan County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the southbound lanes of I-35 are shut down at mile marker 162. Initial reports indicate that two vehicles were involved and that both vehicles caught fire.
