Is Brothers Getting Closer To Decision?

Recently, ShowMeMizzou caught up with 2011 LB Kentrell Brothers 6’1″ 215 Guthrie (OK), and he updated us on his recruitment.

He described his recruitment as having “leveled out”. He hasn’t received any new offers in about a month (Vanderbilt offered the senior-to-be last week). Among those schools he listed as “recruiting him hard” are Missouri, Iowa State, Vanderbilt, Kansas State, Kansas, Baylor, Oregon State, UCONN, and Washington

With one LB spot still remaining in Missouri’s 2011 recruiting class, Kentrell’s feeling some pressure to claim that spot, but he’s planning to hold off on making his college choice. He’d like to take more time to investigate his other options.

“I think I’m going to take an official visit (to Missouri),” said Brothers, “whenever those are allowed. I want to make (my decision) before my senior season starts, but if I need to take more time, then I will.”

Brothers stated that he hasn’t decided on a list of top schools, but that when he does come up with a top list, that Missouri will be on that list. He said that he “still really likes Missouri”. He said that he’d probably have a top list by the end of the summer.

Brothers said that he’s planning to be in attendance at the Missouri one day camp in Springfield, MO on June 1.
