Logan County now with four COVID-19 confirmed cases

The Oklahoma State Department of Health announced Monday morning that the number confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma has risen to 481 and also Logan County now has four confirmed cases.

For Logan County, the new case is the first since March 25 to be reported by the State.

The Logan County Health Department staff says they are in regular contact with those residents that are infected and are monitoring their status and advising them on their course of recovery.

The health department reminds everyone it is important for them to protect those that are infected with COVID-19. In order to comply with State and Federal Privacy requirements, the Logan County Health Department says they will not release any information concerning individuals affected by COVID-19 or any other illnesses.

This chart follows the COVID-19 numbers that were released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health on March 30, 2020.

The death total now stands at 17 for the state, while 153 others have been hospitalized because of the virus. 

The latest fatality was in Cleveland County with a male in the 50-64 age group.

47 Oklahoma counties have reported at least one confirmed case.

  1. This is not a true statement from the health department. I in fact have a friend who tested positive and nobody has contacted him since his test came back positive he’s been in isolation at home and feeling much better but for the health department to say they’re monitoring is a false statement especially in this case.
