Hall defeats challenger LeMarr, wins third term in Oklahoma Senate

Incumbent Sen. Chuck Hall secured a third consecutive term in the Oklahoma Senate on Tuesday, defeating challenger Mark LeMarr in the Republican primary for Senate District 20.

The victory secures Hall’s third and final four-year term in the Oklahoma Senate. Under Oklahoma law, legislators are limited to 12 years of service in the Legislature, making Hall term-limited at the conclusion of this term.

LeMarr, a pastor from Crescent, carried only Logan County but did so by a significant margin, winning the county by 342 votes.

The Logan County Election Board will look to certify the numbers on Friday.
