Mulhall-Orlando FFA members are starting the summer off strong by participating in educational opportunities and agricultural experiences across Oklahoma.

Junior member Brylie Cook recently attended a two-day Veterinary Science Course at Oklahoma State University. During the program, she explored various aspects of animal health and veterinary medicine while gaining hands-on experience and learning about career opportunities within the veterinary field.

Mulhall-Orlando FFA members Berkley Mckay, Emersan Pool, and Lane Brown attended the Oklahoma State University Livestock Judging Camp. Throughout the week, students strengthened their livestock evaluation skills, practiced oral reasons, and learned from industry professionals and collegiate judging team members. Berkley Mckay was recognized as the Outstanding Member of her camp group, an honor awarded for her leadership, participation, and dedication throughout the camp.

In addition, Mulhall-Orlando FFA member Emersan Pool and former Mulhall-Orlando FFA member Daegan Pool had the opportunity to discuss agricultural concerns and current industry issues at Pfeiffer Angus Farms with state and national leaders. The event provided a unique opportunity for young agricultural advocates to engage in conversations about the future of agriculture and the challenges facing producers today.

Through these experiences, Mulhall-Orlando FFA members continue to develop leadership skills, expand their agricultural knowledge, and represent their chapter with pride. The chapter looks forward to seeing how these opportunities help prepare members for future success in agriculture, leadership, and service.
